Wheel Kids MTB Race Team – Bay Area Bike Project’s Rockville Gromduro
Get race-ready for the Rockville Gromduro with the Wheel Kids Race Team! This program is designed for experienced young mountain bikers who want to improve their endurance, technical skills, race strategy, and confidence while preparing for one of Northern California’s premier youth enduro events.
The program includes four coached downhill-focused training rides, race-specific skills instruction and preparation, an entry fee for the Rockville Gromduro race, an official 2026 Wheel Kids Race Team jersey and race-day support from Wheel Kids coaches.
Riders will participate in four coached training sessions at Rockville Hills Regional Park, allowing them to become familiar with the terrain, practice key sections of the race course, and develop the skills needed for a successful race day. Coaches will focus on climbing efficiency, cornering, line choice, descending technique, race pacing, and overall race preparation.

- Age and Skill Requirement: Ages 9 – 14, Level 6+ – please review skill levels before registration to ensure proper fit for this camp. This camp will have one group of combined ages/skill levels.
- Bike and Equipment Requirement: Mountain bike with front suspension minimum; Full-suspension mountain bike strongly recommended. Full-face helmet and knee pads required on race day; recommended for training rides.

After School BMX
Tuesdays, Sept. – Oct.

After School BMX
This club is for all the BMX enthusiasts. We will be riding the Concord Skatepark, working on park etiquette, learning how to respect others and share the space, dropping in, jumping techniques, various tricks, line selection and most importantly have fun while being safe. We’ll also go over some mechanic skills and bike set up.
Helmet required, knee pads, elbow pads and gloves recommended.
- Ages: Ages 6+, Level 5+ skill level.

After-School Mountain Bike Rides
Once school is back in session, that only means one thing: after School MTB rides with Wheel Kids! Hit the trails, make new friends, and have a blast! Our after-school mountain bike rides offer kids a fantastic opportunity to explore nature, learn biking skills, and enjoy the thrill of outdoor adventure in a safe and supportive environment.
- Ages: Ages 9+, Level 5+ skill level.
- Where: Lime Ridge Open Space – Navarrone Trailhead
- Dates: 9/3, 9/10, 9/17, 9/24, 10/1, 10/8, 10/15. 10/22, 10/29
- Hours: 4:30pm – 6:30pm
- Cost: $45/ Session – 10% sibling or parent discount available. Multi-Session Discount available.
- Equipment: Properly fitting two-wheel pedal bike appropriate for off-road use. Front and rear hand brakes & gears required.

Indigenous People’s Day Lil’ Cruisers
Lil’ Cruisers is designed for the little ones that are ready to explore on their bikes, but might not be up for a full day of camp! Lil’ Cruisers will embark on an adventure cruising the local bike trails and hitting up all our favorite playgrounds, and learning trail etiquette, hand signals, and safe biking along the way!
- Ages: Ages 4-8, Level 3+ skill level.
- Where: Heather Farm Park (bathrooms near Field 1)
- Date: Monday, Oct. 12
- Hours: 8:30am – 4:00pm
- Cost: $180 – 10% sibling discount available.
- Equipment: Properly fitting two-wheel pedal bike with either coaster or hand brake. Child must be able to easily touch their feet to the ground while seated.

While we normally operate Camp Cruisin’ and Adventure Riding independently, the Pleasanton BMX Park is the perfect location for riders of all skill levels to come and have fun. If your child is just dirt-curious, or a jump master, this park has something for everyone!

Camp Cruisin’ will challenge and inspire your child with unique bike rides and activities in the East Bay and beyond. CC kids are exposed to a variety of bicycle-based activities – daily bike rides, riding skills instruction, bike maintenance, on- and off-street safety skills, share-the-road etiquette, wayfinding, and lots of having fun and messing around on their bikes.

Fall Break Camp Cruisin’
Camp Cruisin’ will challenge and inspire your child with unique bike rides and activities in the East Bay and beyond.
