Camp Cruisin’

Presidents Day Camp Cruisin’ – Monday Feb. 16th

This President’s Day we’ve planned a challenging and inspiring day with a unique bike and public transit adventure to the Calabazas BMX Park, starting from Rinconada Park in Palo Alto. This trip is designed to actively learn about the combined use of bicycles and public transportation. The journey involves a ride to the Palo Alto Caltrain Station, a southbound train trip, and a final bike segment from the Caltrain station to Calabazas park. Throughout the day, kids will apply their bike skills instruction, on- and off-street safety, share-the-road etiquette, and wayfinding abilities while also learning the logistics of loading bikes onto the Caltrain’s dedicated bike cars, making this a fun and educational real-world application of their camp curriculum.
