Spring Break Mountain Bike Camps
Mountain Bike Camp offers a dynamic experience for older, more experienced riders. This camp focuses on developing off-road technical abilities while emphasizing safety and enjoyment. This Camp caters to avid riders who seek thrills and adventure. A prerequisite for participation is a high comfort level on bikes and the necessary skills and mental focus required for big days on the bike. Participants can expect long/moderate or short/steep climbs, the potential for 12+ miles daily, and occasional requirements to carry bikes up/down stairs or other obstacles.
Riders will experience a broad range of mountain biking terrain, including multi-use paths, fire roads, and technical singletrack. Coaches will work with campers on a wide variety of skills, including efficient climbing and descending, gearing selection and pedaling cadence, technical trail riding, obstacle avoidance, jumps/drops, bike maintenance and trail-side repair, and group riding techniques and etiquette.
Each day of camp brings a new mountain biking destination, where riders will explore new trails, build confidence, and sharpen their skills:
